Do’s and Don’ts


BEFORE WAXING
✶ If you have been shaving you must grow your hair out for two weeks.
✶ No products that contain retinoids, glycolic or salicylic acids at least seven days before your facial waxing appointment.
✶ If you have been taking Accutane, you MUST stop use 6-12 months before being waxed.
✶ If you have had a chemical peel, you must wait at least 4 weeks before getting the treated area waxed.
✶ No prolonged sun exposure or tanning three days prior to appointment.
✶ Spray tans and self tanners are best used at least 48 hours AFTER waxing.

AFTER WAXING
✶ Avoid touching any freshly waxed skin as it can encourage irritation.
✶ Avoid tight clothing and underwear immediately after waxing.
✶ Postpone your normal workout for at least 12 hours.
✶ No swimming, hot baths/hot tubs, heavy lotions, oils or exfoliation for at least 48 hours.
✶ No retinoids, glycol and salicylic acids on freshly waxed skin for five days.
✶ After 48 hours, EXFOLIATE to maintain smoothness.
